Artist Phil Hansen is a resourceful guy.

He ‘paints’ in a variety of unexpected styles using everything from typography to used matches, peanut butter and jelly, wooden slats and dandelions to create portraits and homages to Jimi Hendrix, Mother Theresa, Bruce Lee, Che Guevara and others, including (above) da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, rendered in burger grease.

The comedian/musician Reggie Watts turned up for a recent interview on SiriusXM, having forgotten to bring his recording equipment.

He then proceeded to improvise a trademark multi-layered riff about pancakes on his iPhone.
