Kelly’s Butchers, Newport, have just been awarded a gold medal from The Confrérie des Chevaliers du Goute-Boudin (The Black Pudding Fraternity of Lovers of Good Food).
Kelly’s winning entry was a black pudding made in the shape of a pint of Irish stout.

We’ve all been there.
A few glasses of wine, a burning resentment and a nearby laptop.
But did Sarah Carey really – as Politics.ie has been speculating throughout the night – leave the status on her Facebook page to read thusly:
Sarah said her Facebook page was hacked. Also madam is not cross-eyed. She suffers from amblyopia, otherwise known as a lazy eye.
And, to be fair, It doesn’t sound like the Sarah Carey we have come to cherish.

The wild internet message board 4chan, known for originating almost all memes and spawning the hacker/activist collective Anonymous, is plotting a prank on some unfortunately lonely fellows using OkCupid. The point, if you could call it that, is to create an flashmob, in which a large group of people flashily take over a public space, but involuntarily by making a bunch of fake online dating profiles and agreeing to meet men at a specified moment in Times Square.
By May 13th, any FA who hasn’t already heard about this probably deserves their moment of horrible fame.
Come the day, trolls everywhere will be glued to camera 2.
