Financial regulator Matthew Elderfield is, as we write, conducting an online interview with Reuters.

And he’s just unleashed this humdinger:

“There are some notable examples of Irish financial companies who have suffered over dominant CEOs, or ineffective challenge in the Board room. Poor governance at the Irish banks was exacerbated by the concentrated nature of corporate life in Ireland, with challenge and awkwardness in the Board room perhaps blunted by the social constraints of working and living in a small business community in a small country.”

Youtuber, sethsharp1 sez:

One night while I (Seth) was DJing at this club in Reykjavik (with DJ Karel), Julian Assange and some of his friends came to the club for a night of dancing. Much speculation has taken place over his dancing skills. He owned the dance floor that night for sure!

He’s good, but he’s no Thom Yorke.

Anonymous has this week apparently declared war on Sony, after the corporation filed a lawsuit against George Hotz, aka geohot – the guy who hacked the iPhone and PlayStation 3. The hacker collective DDoS’d both the Sony and PlayStation websites yesterday, taking both down (temporarily) and causing myriad connection issues on the PlayStation Network.

Is no-one safe? Won’t somebody think of the children? Why didn’t we get an XBox, etc.
