He [Denis O’Brien, above] denied that he had engaged in a very professional PR campaign after receiving the preliminary findings.
Lawyers for the newspaper said he had taken out newspaper ads “slagging off tribunal lawyers”, was quoted in the Sunday Times as saying he “had a plan” and described fighting the tribunal “street by street”.
Mr O’Brien said he was involved with the tribunal for ten years, he was quite emotional and upset and questioned the credibility of the legal team for the tribunal.

Stewie (Mymains Stewart Gilligan), the world’s longest (1.23m) cat, owned by Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness of Reno, has died.

Ballyfermot College of Further Education is having a lot of trouble due to budget cuts at the moment. They already had to close the free creche. Many of the teachers have been cut or reduced to an impossibly small amount of hours. I know you feature animation, illustration, design and music locally, many people in those industries came through Ballyfermot. It’s a very special college that felt more like a family to me. When I was there I had allot of trouble with grants etc, and they went out of their way to help me out so I could stay and complete my HND in Illustration. I would like to return that favor by getting their Facebook page shared as much as possible, as I know that many people who went through the college wouldn’t be where they are today in their careers without the amazing staff at Ballyfermot.
