Still nowhere near as funny/scary as the letter Ronan Mullen sent his former classmates looking for €5 grand when he was fundraising for his run as MEP

Afraid not – Was a friend of mine who got it and went straight in the bin along with much laughter.

He did ask a number of lads who had been in school with Ronan as well did they get the same letter and apparently they all did. He had been worried/shocked/surprised that Mullen thought he would share any of the same views.

I suppose all it takes with stuff like that is for one gullible person to send money to make it worthwhile.

Hang on. It only takes ten grand to give them the kind of media access they enjoy for an entire year?
That’s damn near pro bono rates in PR terms. Something smells there.

At least now we know that every time Breda, David or John go on national radio they’ll have to have a Broadsheet reader on in opposition, for balance like, to keep with the BAI rules and the like….

I nominate Mani for the first appearance.

Sheesh. On call media team???? Speaks volumes. 24/7 diatribe. Handy if you’re in the repression game.
    Bunch of loathsome something’s.

But hang on, they already have 2 columnists in 2 national papers. For a tiny group, they have managed to achieve huge clout.
Why are these guys the on-call group for balance?
There is much more variation in opinions in Irish society than this group allows.
It would be great if we could have the shades of grey also represented.

I think it may well have.
This group (officially dissolved) are looking for donations for their “vital” work.

Dear broadsheet, could you look into this group? how come a dissolved company is still asking for cash?

          10K for Jesus isn’t a lot.

Remember its harder for a rich man to stick a needle in the eye of a camel, than a poor person. If you’re into that sort of thing.

Sure didn’t Breda come into a bit of money during the year …. She can fund this! (Like the Church funded the crusades you know!!! ) [*disclaimer* to trolls … I claim no historical accuracy to such a statement …. the lady came into lots of money… oh ya and the crusade comment isn’t accurate either probably].

Actually that being said I have this quote, from a ‘paper’, written by a person with 3 law degrees saying that Gays caused the crusades.I can’t quite prove it, but I have faith that it is totes true, and sure that’s all we need now isn’t it!!

Are they not still funded by the guy who owns Dominos Pizzas?
Last I heard he was one of the head honchoes in this organisation.

Remember that because the IONA / YD don’t declare where funding comes from and they don’t abide by SIPO rules around lobby groups, no TV or radio station has to entertain their requests to be on any panel.

They can be told just go and fupp off.
    Simples.
