Archbishop Eamon Martin

There’s no need for people to fret,
Over Martin’s civil marriage threat,
Did you really think,
That the lads wouldn’t blink,
You’ll have your big day in church yet

    Hey Broadsheet,
When you put BBC, or AP, or Guardian at the bottom of these posts, is it supposed to mean anything?

You’d think. But, no. Today’s link is to the Irish Times, even though it says BBC. Yesterday, it said AP but was also a link to the Irish Times.

BBC is an acronym (where you use the first letters of the words) and it stands for British Broadcasting Corporation – except on porn sites – and it is the public service broadcaster in the UK, the AP is the Associated Press, that’s another acronym, an international press agency and the Guardian is a newspaper in the UK.
