I love that… big on so called ‘vegan’ ethics…. but zero ethics on abusing a human being who finds themselves in a position of little opportunity for proper paid work so they stick that person on a NINE MONTH INTERNSHIP !

    …for serving FUC***G TEA !!

Yes, I know it says ‘PR, customer facing, etc.’ but anyone with half a brain knows that this will not take 9 months to learn.

This IS abuse and nothing more!!

The shop sells itself in part via an ethical chill zone with vegan food available, Raw Pu Erh tea, and all that good for the soul and well being…. but they won’t treat humans with any respect.

Now that is most definitely hypocritical hipster waffle when you look closer… and I feel that should be pointed out.

Honestly, this isn’t as bad as a lot I’ve seen over the years.
Barista training, learning about various things. It’s hardly just whacking the kettle on and asking how many sugars so calm your collective tits.

      9 months. That’s abuse.

JobBridge rules state that a company taking on someone via JobBridge cannot do so at a profit, and must do so at the companies expense… I cannot see where this is costing anything to the company, can you? (Don’t say €50/wk)

3 months and I’d have no issue, nine months is abuse.

You’d have to be asking yourself, would you be better off financially picking the tea leaves out east, than this..

I think I’d learn the money handling bit of it fairly quickly.

And they want you to work nights too.. Tea lady by day, PR consultant by night.

Fupping tea assistant. I ask of ya.

9 months to learn how to make a cup of tea? Basic Barista training can be done in a day, more if you really are into the whole specialty coffee side of it with roasting beans and the like.

The Laborer is worthy of his hire, even if its minimum wage.

70 types of tea? You’d be a battle-hardened tea wrangler after that, able to name your price at any tea shop in the world. You could learn about different types of cereal at night college to fill out your credentials.
