Two prime specimens of the awful, talentless over-promoted dross that passes for representatives of Gaydom on Irish telly.

They’d turn you ‘phobic, so they would.

“if that’s the type of bitter old queen we have in Ireland, then I don’t know. I pity his boyfriend. Oliver needs a reality check.”

Alan Hughes doing his bit to reinforce the perception that all gay men act like bitchy c**ts all the time. All it needs in a finger click and a ‘OOooooooh’ at the end.

So is Oliver Callan by having a go. They’re both more like each other than either of them care to believe.

Both Oliver Callan and Alan Hughes are embarrassing in equal measure. The real issue here is that wee Oliver Callan thinks he is some sort of masc slash “straight acting” fellow (as per his national TV coming out) who instinctively rebels against Hughes’ tendency toward campness and theatrics. The whole spat is unseemly and an embarrassment to all gay people.

Probably jealousy that he didn’t do it first. Then again I couldn’t give a rats hoop about either

    Did I miss sum’ting?
Was there a Louis Walsh hype type media strop with those tv3 zeelist 2_weddings_still_int’enough_drama_queens?

Can’t stand Oliver Callan. He’s a TV version of the sociopathic sneery little twerp in school who’d make snarky comments about everyone.

Had to be said- I don’t know what young gay men Alan Hughes is hoping to inspire with yet ANOTHER public declaration of his love (photo spread in VIP to come) for the person who gives him a job every year as Sammy Sausages at the panto. The pair of them look embalmed- or is that just a kilogram of TV3 makeup?
