The customer ISN’T always right. The general public are idiots. He just calls it as it is.
I actually had a customer claim the 10 she gave me was a fifty a few weeks ago. When I showed her that I didn’t even have any fifties in my till yet as she was only the second customer of the day she snarled at me and references that, “customer is always right” thing.
Anyone who works in a customer service/public facing job will completely understand this guy.

This guy is running what’s called a ‘lifestyle business’ and is clearly happy to tick over, making an OK living serving people who might have a sense of humour instead of dull cheapskates thinking they deserve five star service on a three star budget.

Does cheapskate include a guy who thinks all free publicity is good publicity? In his case it isn’t, mostly because he’s pretty thick.
