This morning.
Mary Boyle’s sister Ann Doherty (centre) with friend Margo O’Donnell and journalist Gemma O’Doherty on their way to meet Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin to discuss Garda allegations that a Fianna Fáil politician interfered in the Garda investigation into Mary’s disappearance.
Mary was six years old when she vanished on her grandparents’ remote farm near Ballyshannon, Co Donegal on March 18, 1977.

Judging by the comments of the retired Gardaí in the recent video they were, at the time, prevented from conducting a full investigation into Mary’s disappearance.
Dear Broadsheet…fearless campaigner etc…the time has come to put up or shut up. If searches are being conducted on the basis of advice from psychics or other charletans maybe the time has come to shut up.
Twit.
The core of the issue is the politician hamstringing the cops and subverting the course of justice. He stopped any meaningful investigation by asking our state police not to interview the main suspect.
The private searches are irrelevant to the case. But those who want to undermine the investigation will keep using that as a red herring of course to make the poor woman sound crazy. How Irish.
…I’m just repeating what I’ve read on here…many times…am I the only one who doesn’t know who the people involved in the cover up are? Publish and be damned Broadsheet…it’s what you used to be good at.
Well said Tish.
