Lego deliberately contain their ‘violence’ to comic or historical activities, nothing a child would actually encounter in day-to-day life (unless their parents are involved in medieval recreations). If the good doctor wishes Lego to tone down, he’ll need to widen his scope to include children television and animated movies such as Disney films.

Dr. Bartneck probably stepped on a Lego when he was younger and now wages a war against it. Or a shill for Mega Bloks, Kre-o, Sluban etc.

having recently been the unhappy recipient of a ninjago kick to the testicles from a 5 year old, I beg to differ.

Lego’s first weapons were introduced in 1978…. so like myself, I think the above commenters may have stopped playing with lego by then…. well, I mightn’t have stopped, but I wasn’t getting any new ones :)
