Paul Kelly, Founder and Chief Executive of Console has this evening stepped down from his position(s) at the charity.

Nothing to do with that RTÉ Investigates programme of course.

    Has been a con man since 1983 and numerous concerns have been raised over his running of console yet it took this long? Irish charity looks a good business model, watch out dragons den

      Goodness gracious! Someone stepped down from their lucrative post? well I never – lawsuit for defamation on the way? that seems to be the usual drill. Sadly, after years of donating to charities I now decline, and I will now lobby for ACTUAL oversight of any charity or quango receiving public money. There are now thousands of them, including the entire Catholic Church, (which is how they became massive land owners). Enough is enough. I could register myself as a charity tomorrow. Minimal paperwork, eff all oversight. Not good enough at all.
