As unlikely as it is, I do hope for the chap that there’s no problem with his B sample and there’s been some bog ‘ol mix up….
That all said, the key difference between this and Russia – where we actually win – is Sport Ireland’s anti-doping agency raised the flag and reported the failed drug test. In other words there’s zero comparison between what the Russian’s got up to and this unfortunate situation.
