how can an obscure town have floats that are so much more exciting than the great St. Patrick’s parade?
Passion, interest, competition?
Exactly what I was thinking.
St Patrick’s Day in Dublin has come a long way since it was a line of flatback trucks with AIB, 3M, Jury’s Hotels etc. It’s still really poo compared to parades abroad.
that was my first thought – I mean, surely a flat back truck with a couple of bales of hay and a few kitchen chairs would have sufficed?
Ya’d miss them all the same
I love the obligatory tractors that come with every town parade in Ireland.
They used to throw Bazooka Joe chewing gum at us in the good old days.
Bloomin’ lovely! The honeycomb one is particularly spectacular. Very talented people.
love them
