The museum features rare and special artefacts, recreations, audio- visual elements and various model displays telling the story and history of An Garda Siochana and its fascist roots.

      There is also a mannequin of an old-timey garda sleeping in each one because they can’t pay their own mortgages, what with all of their BLTs not doing so well.

    “The Garda Síochána will succeed not by force of arms or numbers, but on their moral authority as servants of the people” was their motto in the days when they were bringing piece to a country still full of guns and gunmen after a devastating civil war… seems to be slipping a bit.

    I wouldn’t say the Gardaí had fascist roots just because its second Commissioner later had a dalliance with right wing politics. Its a bit of a stretch.
