Predictive programming by the Machine?

Doug Whelan, keyholder of the Broadsheet Trailer Park writes:

Spotted this guy (top) @1.04 in Rage Against the Machine’s video for ‘Sleep Now in the Fire’, directed by Michael Moore in 1999.

The video was shot in public on Wall Street, so it’s not clear whether he’s a plant, or a randomer they caught on camera. Either way, remarkable bit of prescience…

Bodger must never see this.

    99… I was there 98 – 99

And those signs were about alright

Sum’ting else now that I’m reminded
Wall Street was screaming for Paddies

    White English Speakers
    Good Education
    Good Degrees
And in no need of Therapy

I was meeting up with an old pal who’d settled out there and was working with one of the Data Analytic crowds there

Anyway arrived at yer ‘man’s place of work and at reception I was immediately introduced to the HR boss before my buttie was paged

Within an hour they gave me two separate offers

Same in 04. Called by to meet up with a firm, just to say hello, no shop talk, who did some local tax returns for where I was at the time.
Headed off after about an hour max. Got back to the hotel, the W actually, very nice, and there were two partners in the bar waiting for me; …
    The rest tells itself

    Point is
Trumpizm was well embedded in that whole district back then
