I’m in Oz. There are regular stories in the media about cannibas helping reduce the number and impact of epilepsy in children. I know one such family. There is no reason to withhold this treatment from these people.

Aye, stories of a similar vein here, of Irish kids going to US for their cannabis treatment, returning home and continuing the treatment illegally. Good luck to them, the change is long overdue.

“the report will also be referred to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health”
I didn’t know we’ve had Joint Committee, That is so progressive

Luvvit, nellyb! :-D On a more serious note, not before time, and I hope there will be no undue delay in introducing this measure to alleviate human suffering.

I know we’re all different but I find it hard to understand how weed would help with anxiety. it’d be the opposite for me.

I’ve found it can help with my own anxiety. Helped me in a big way when I experiencing multiple panic attacks daily, but too much of it can be a bad thing too. It can exacerbate anxiety too, and can inhibit motivation, but I think it very much depends on the type of weed you smoke. With most things, moderation and education is a must.

Another argument for legalisation and regulation, if you ask me.

I suppose when I did smoke it, it would have been every day mainly because of who I was living with and social life at the time, then I’d go off it and realise I had become quite dumb and was anxious about simple things.
          Lack of moderation though.
