    It’s Dubai. Ex-pat right-wing hell. God, it must be hot there in those sheepskin coats. Fatsos.

      When I was young I used to only hear “ex-pat” when referring to Irish abroad, therefore in my head it was slang, short for “ex-paddy” as in they were Irish but now living abroad.

      When I heard someone refer to another nationality as expats, I was like “they’re not expats, sure they’re brits”

    I think Women’s Rugby will be fine. They don’t need to be paid the same or treated equally in terms of pay because they’re not as good at rugby as we are, especially in the scrum. I’m sure I can find some psychological study to back this up.

    Despite not being a Fine Gael type – Leo is still An Taoiseach – it must hurt when he sees this. Dubai is somewhere I never wish to visit. Irish types go there and stay in 6 Star hotels (I thought 4 was the max – they invent their own rules). I’m appalled !

        Yikes ! I’m clearly of an age. I stayed at The Burlington in Dublin @ 98 – 4 star? The Shelbourne, recently is 5 star. I don’t get the whole 6 stars.

    I am presuming going by the comments that you all didn’t actually read the piece?

    Its about the RFU announcing that they would be giving the English team professional contracts and then deciding a bit further down the line that, in fact, they would not even though some of the ladies had quit their day jobs.
