Taken To The Cleaners

at

Paddy Cole, of SIPTU, writes:

Ann Daly is a cleaner and the longest serving staff member in St Cronan’s Senior National School, Swords, County Dublin.

Ann and her colleagues Lorraine and Pauline have been locked out of their jobs for the last week. Their jobs have been outsourced to a cleaning company which has declined to employ them.

The community is behind them and they will remain on the line until they get justice.

You can sign a petition to urge their reinstatment here. Thank you.

Any chance of a full declaration of facts Broadsheet? The claim contained in the headline would be illegal.

    Thanks

The claim is attributed to Paddy Cole of SIPTU, not to Broadsheet. Details are up there ^^^

The mistreatment of these people is a disgrace. Their jobs were out sourced as a penny pinching exercise and nothing else. Any rightt minded person will see this as a blatant attack on the values and decency of ordinary Ireland. This is why their community is standing by those women. Delighted to sign the petition, proud to stand for decency. Profit hungry cynicism has no place in our schools, people should be outraged and these cleaners should be given their jobs back.

Objecting to the cynical denial of person’s rights makes him a “commie”? You might be a bit thick.

You’re some clown. Hopefully you or some member of your close will be sacked in the very near future. That would be lovely.

And you’re the nice caring guys? Little charmers the lot of you. But thank god you’re not running our schools.

I’m the principal of a fairly large school, actually.
Happy to take any questions you might have…

…and maybe just run through the principal/principle thing. Coz I can’t leave that poop go. And no ‘I’m just a bilingual frenchie let me be’ excuses.
