€235 a week. I’m sure that poor landlord has no choice but to charge that. The Free Market is a powerful sentient force that people have to adhere, as we all know. It is not, repeat NOT, just a bunch of greedy people making completely free decisions to benefit themselves at the expense of the masses.

I’m sure Pat Hogans taxes are completely up to date, and all the apartments he’s renting conform to all standards and safety requirements…

The 3 week advance at all times, does that mean you need 3 weeks rent in your pocket whenever you’re home, like the landlord could just jump you anytime and look for 3 weeks rent.

Also if ESB isnt included the fact that there is an electric rad above the normal one probably says that the supplied heating wont be that great or frequent,

A cosy love nest for a couple aged 18-22, then make a million or two on the lottery and move to a modest bungalow overlooking the sea in Killiney.

I rented one of those flats in 1998 for £70 a week. My inflation calculator tells me it should be around €130-€140 per week now.
