Meanwhile, In 2048

The second of three prequels to Blade Runner 2049 by director Luke Scott (Ridley’s son) commissioned by Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve.

This one is set one year before the events of the upcoming film and focuses on Dave Bautista’s character, Snapper Morton.

I am excited for this film cos I love the original.
That said I loved Taken and Taken 2 & 3 were worse than below average.

    now I’m worried.

I don’t believe (IMO) The Scotts have made a bad movie/tv show. Luke has a helluva lot to deliver as a director to emulate his dad. I think it’s interesting that he chose, “Blade Runner” as his treatment, rather than Alien, surely his dad’s most famous movies.

Luke also directed ‘Alien: Covenant | Prologue: Last Supper’. He seems to draw a lot of influence from renaissance art to frame his shots. Just seen that he directed ‘Morgan’ from last year. Will have to check that out
