    We all saw how the free and balanced press operates at the Non Disclosures Tribunal… I don’t really know who I despise more out of this article. The press, Varadker or Mc Donald… how utterly depressing and amateur they all are.

    The media in Ireland lost all credibility the time of the boom. They gorged on it like pigs at the trough. Then the arse fell out of their business model and they squealed like pigs. Now the better ones work for Government ministers and the rest are scattered like poorly paid click merchants across the bleeding landscape of print and broadcast.

    These comments fall into that age old category of a politician opening their mouth and the truth accidentially slipping out, leo varadkar is a very right wing politician so these kind of comments shouldn’t come as any surprise.

          The “gaff” is that he said this out loud. It gives an interesting insight into how people like him really think, they say one thing in public and something completely different in private.

            It is what it is clamps, I don’t know why you get so upset about it. Your persona on here changed completely during the 2016 campaign and particularly afterwards. So why don’t you just own it, you’re perfectly entitled to your views but I’m not going to take you very seriously as a result. I mean you constantly refer to Hillary Clinton as “killary” yet call me childish, its laughable.

            Why are you so angry, in the space of a couple of comments you have referred to me as childish and a fool simply because I have the temerity to disagree with you. You claim that you haven’t changed your views and perhaps you actually believe that, but if your views haven’t changed you certainly feel empowered to express them since trump came on the scene.

            Its wrong regardless of who is advocating it and its a large contributing factor to general public distrust in politics. I voted for Bernie Sanders in the primaries and only voted for Clinton in the presidential election because the alternative to me was unthinkable. I am not a supporter of Clinton and your constant name calling does nothing but cement my feelings that you support the name caller in chief.
