Surrounded by the very lovely Quad, it looks like. Also 19th century.
You’d think they’d’ve trimmed dem bushes. No respect for their neighbours.

If we had a private message function I could alert Brother Barnabas to the huge smut potential here…..

        i sensed it

actually, I’m fond of an unruly bush. leave things as god intended, you know.

I think you just did, Bertie.

Did you know that the now main entrance was added later as the entrance at Gaol cross used to get so crowded for public executions that the students couldn’t enter?

I blame the people of the 19th century for not having the foresight to be born in the later 20th/early 21st century.

Serves them right having kids and wanting to eat and all – they deserved to live in Hobbit holes.

Now where is my Charlie Trevelyan t-shirt?

It was the feckin Land League building huts for landless labourers that started all this culture of entitlement and irresponsibility.

  3. Murtles

Not enough mud houses being built nowadays that’s the problem. You could fit 6 in there at least.

Need a picture of Eoghan Murphy with his 19th century tunic sleeves rolled up and a very serious ”I mean BUSINESS” experssion – ideally he will be pointing at the tatching as if he knew the first thing about rolling reeds.

6 are you mad, you could fill Mountjoy Square with these huts..15 to a hut @350 to 450 a pop…thereby solving the homeless problem and helping out FFGLAB and all their pals.

I was hoping “I have been knocked off my bike three times” would be the first line in a new verse, nigel

          1. Nigel

            It’s resonating!
I have been knocked off my bike three times
And then you locked your bikes to mine
Now I’m cycling four bikes down the street
And with the concussion I’m seeing double
I’m a danger to myself and to others
But alt least there are new cycle lanes all over the place.

Nigel is clearly making a creative transition to beat poetry.

            He’s actually Alan Ginsburg
