‘I Didn’t Want To Be Calling Any Staff Member Dishonest’

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar speaking at the launch of Fine Gael’s manifestos for the European and local elections in Moate, Co Westmeath

Sean Defoe tweetz:

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar twice refuses opportunity to apologise to pathologists at Waterford Hospital.

Varadkar says he does regret if his tone suggested he was discouraging whistleblowers in the health service & he wasn’t calling any staff member dishonest.

The only thing I said in recent days is that there were different accounts. And I didn’t want to be calling any staff member dishonest.”

This won’t end well.

That, ‘get about the country and some real people’, idea went well then..

It’s been great. As Corporal Jones was wont to say ‘they don’t like it up ‘em’.

After confrontation, pile on the mockery and ridicule. Thats where the real damage is done.

Leo, you spectacular silly. I don’t think he has any idea how unappealing his arrogance looks to everyone other than him.

I preferred the unmodded version of my comment, if you must pinky-poo.

Nothing has changed since the days of “Maurice the Rat”, those within the system are undermined and attacked for exposing scandal and shortcomings. Well, maybe a tiny change, instead of Terry Prone, the government is now using Eoghan O’Neachtain.

It’s a wonder he didn’t try the ‘I’ll have to ask my secretary if I said that’ line.

This will collapse the government. The backward horror of deliberate divestment and mismanagement has been further exposed, actual fellow humans are effected everyday by these policies, not just balance sheets. What reasonable conclusion can be drawn from the state of management in the HSE in relation to the amount of tax payers money being pumped in every year, there is something else, parasitic, going on, there has to be.
