Sssh John, don’t be giving the natives notions. I mean, if we introduced such a ban here, John Bruton would be kicked off the Teneo gravy train. Enda Kenny would have to give up the China ting. God knows what Bertie Ahern and Brian Cowen are up to, their “consultancy” companies are unlimited which means they don’t file public accounts. And they’re just the cream of the crop of ex-politicians exploiting their networks to deliver results which mightn’t always be in the public interest.
