Researchers have found that some people have more reason to doubt their fathers than others,

It’s enough to make someone quite mad
To find you have a secret dad
But in urban life
It seems many a wife
Is tempted to do something bad

And in modern times if a man splits from a wife who has had a child from cheating with another bloke, the man can still be forced to pay for the raising of that other man’s child…. that damn patriarchy wha’!

That’s thing, even with DNA tests proving the man is not the father and the wife cheated the fella still ends up paying for the kid that’s not his… it’s just not right.

ah clamps, fatherhood is more complex than that. just cos the missis cheats on the father, it’s no reason to take it out on the nipper. the nipper has a right to know and love the rest of the family, surely?

I’m talking about break ups and cheating partners. And men been made pay for kids that are not theirs and in some cases never knew existed.

Further to that, isn’t the best answer to your point of having the kid know their family, is when the kid gets to know the real father.

It’s maddening how bad family law is here and the bias shown in court in favour of one parent against the other based on a parents sex and social mores

I believe, and I’m open to correction, but if you put your name on the chlids birth cert and then you find out it’s not yours, the judge will rule against you
      So, Tough Titties!
      Adding insult to injury wha?
