Sleepy’s Super Tuesday

US Democrat Presidential hopeful Joe Biden

Joe Biden just pulled off the biggest, fastest and most unexpected comeback in modern political history.

Nothing about the former vice president’s electoral history, hitherto lackluster campaign and the dynamics of this presidential race suggested his Super Tuesday rampage.

The former vice president’s three White House campaigns were a punchline until Saturday. It took the 78-year-old 33 years to win a single nominating contest. Now he’s suddenly turned into a primary machine, reeling off 10 wins in a span of four nights.

Meanwhile

President Donald Trump weighed in on Super Tuesday results Wednesday morning, focusing mainly on his claim that the Democrats are plotting to deny the nomination to his favored candidate, Bernie Sanders.

“The Democrat establishment came together and crushed Bernie Sanders, AGAIN!” Trump tweeted early Wednesday after a series of primaries generated more convention delegates for Joe Biden.

Dunno- if I was rich and in my late seventies, the last thing I would be thinking of doing is taking on one of the most responsible and demanding jobs in the world- same goes for Trump. You would wonder what makes these people tick.

Surely as much a no-brainer as if it turns out to be Sanders or Warren? Even the biggest Biden-haters are far more likely to get Biden to act like a decent human being than they are Trump.

how the jaysus is it going to be Warren
She can’t even win her own back yard

        see below
Running Mate is about the height of it

I know, V, it was just a broad hypothetical. Reckon it’s Sanders or Biden, Warren as VP, winner keels over after six months, Warren for Pres.

Another thing for watchers to bare in mind here
Biden was only a pinch over Saunders in Texas – so that delegation could just as easily swing the other way

i love the way people hate trump so much lol

biden is disgusting the way he grabs and smells the children, abuses people who question him

his son is worse than anyone in trumps organisation – hunter likes to smoke crack and married his dead brothers widow, he was on the scam in ukraine

…last time the choice was between Trump and crooked Hillary…people knew what to expect if they chose Hillary…they chose Trump…

Ah ‘crooked Hillary’ rears her corrupt head again.

            That’s sooooo last election, bisted.

…maybe…but US elections tend to be a lose:lose for the rest of the world…Obama and crooked Hillary as defence Sec were responsible for more killing and regime changes than Trump or all his predecessors…well maybe not Bush/Blair…

Warren, who didn’t take her own parish, didn’t even come runner up, still has 50 delegates to play Veep with

    I dunno lads,
Bernie’s California win is too sexy to think Biden has this won

    in reality he probably has
but Bernie at least can go into the Convention with a decent case for delegates

Paddys day may well be the turning point
Florida and its 200 plus delegates – if Bernie takes Florida plus his California delegation he’s already half way
Warren and Bloomberg will be playing footsie

I hope that Convention is going to be streamed live
Unless someone wants to give me a freebie, and I’ll do it

and tick something off me bucket list while I’m at it

New York is another biggie, end of April and about 320 delegates; I’m thinking they’re all Bernie’s

Yes “attack”, as in the second meaning of the word:

        attack
        /əˈtak/
        verb
        1. take aggressive military action against (a place or enemy forces) with weapons or armed force.
“in February the Germans attacked Verdun”

        2. criticize or oppose fiercely and publicly.
“he attacked the government’s defence policy”

More questions than answers as to who voted for Status quo Joe! 11 of the fourteen states had open primaries. That means that republicans can vote in the Democratic primary. Biden won 10 of those states. The only open primary Bernie won was his home state. No mention today in our media about this. Republican dirty tricks anyone? Perhaps the republican actually think Biden be better than Trump but maybe not… Big risk by Dems because Biden is a 78 year old gaff machine and really does look like a fragile old man. Only candidates left are all 70+ years old.. Has Ireland ever granted political asylum to US citizens?
