so brazen. very obvious hwo much he was on the side of FFFG while broadcasting. competely in their pocket. rotten little set up. youth today dont want this. we need these relics of old politics gone.

His wife was special advisor to Charlie Flanagan, which given how rubbish he was, speaks volumes.

we need these relics of old politics gone.

While willingly wearing muzzles for a seasonal virus which ironically- HAS gone.

        Oh pipe down.

Most people are OK with trying to be responsible but you do you and the rest of us will adult.

He obviously heard the news which said “no formal or informal events should be held” in hotel restaurants and didn’t bother to observe it.

So they played golf too, so caddys, clubhouse staff, breakfast and lunch staff requirements, green keepers, bar staff, waiting staff, hotel facilities staff, then a dinner for 100, chefs, porters, waiting staff, drivers, taxi workers, bar staff, food deliveries et al, all for a golf society dinner, the mind truly boggles, yet again.

TEST THEM ALL- up to 5% are guaranteed to be typhoid marys- in the mean time- lock them all up in a shed in South Armagh- feed them nothing but curry chips and high sugar drinks.

Supermac’s and Specsavers! I need more alliteration to complete this song…

Where’s Paulus when you need him?

“I shouldn’t have been so stupid as to be getting caught…..” is what he meant though.

Sean your silence is deafening but firstly; Phil Hogan tries to shift the blame for his behaviour onto the
hotels federation. This is pathetic shameful and cowardly and I can’t see how such characteristics can properly represent the Irish people in the EU or indeed anywhere.
Seamus Wolfe regrets being in a situation “where breaches MAY have occurred.” But at least he apologised for his” unintentional breach of the new guidelines”. (No contradiction there Judge?)
Whilst the average Mrs or Mr citizen in a similar predicament might have remained at the dinner due to peer or social pressures surely a supreme court judge should have had the wits to avoid this “unintentional breach” and more importantly to have recognised the events enormous compromising potential.
Both should have walked out of the dinner but didn’t so they should walk now in my view.
Finally why didn’t Sean O Rourke accept Sarah McInerneys invitation (for attendees to comment) this morning and speak on what was his show until recently and accept the type of grilling he would no doubt have handed out. As I said.. deafening silence Sean.

It says a lot about the state of journalism in this country that he was invited to this.

Still ,he can comfort himself on his bed of unearned cash.

We are really badly served by the media here and have been for years and they wonder why revenues are falling?

Of all people…. the judge needs to go… his whole job is judgment and he has proven incapable….
