That was enjoyable
Or, when you put your hand out to shake and they just look at it #awkward
I enjoyed that!
I do have a question, though. I have noticed a lot of animation these days has very exaggerated forms, like here, Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, Ren and Stimpy, and others, that are similar to but quite unlike earlier forms.
Why? I am not giving out, I am just curious. I know artistic styles vary, but many of the current crop seem to be trying to see what limits they can go to.
Maybe that is the point
I think maybe that’s the point, SB. A lot of the animation we post is by young or graduate animators who seem keen to forge new styles.
As I wrote the post, I began to suspect that, but nice to know you do. Much of it is wonderful, some disturbing, and some occasionally inspirational, but always interesting :-)
I noted the same with your (as in the ‘Sheet’s) fashion posts, definitely your ‘You May Like This’ music posts, and the various static artworks you present. You showcase new and upcoming artists of various forms.
Please keep it up!
