You do your bit for the environment and get a brand new EV. Then this happens. Someone having a fitting end to 2020.

Jammer, anyone?

That car got a whack from the side, it’s a Peugeot 2008 EV.

Despite GP propaganda and lies an EV does bugger all for the environment, it just shifts the pollution from the tailpipe to the power station. Awkward fact for the deluded EV enthusiast’s, a bog standard EV has to clock up 50,000 miles before it begins to break even with standard ICE engines due to C02 produced by its manufacturing & child slave labour mining for its battery rare earth metals.

how does the energy used in mining the metals, manufacturing, shipping stack up against using a car that is already on the road?
