YouTube has removed UK’s talkRADIO’s channel from its platform apparently on the grounds of breaching Covid-19 content guidelines.
The London-based station broadcasts a live stream from its studio on its YouTube channel and regularly feature guests who have questioned the official covid narrative.
A spokesperson for talkRADIO said:
“We urgently await a detailed response from Google/YouTube about the nature of the breach that has led to our channel being removed from its platform.
“talkRADIO is an Ofcom licensed and regulated broadcaster and has robust editorial controls in place, taking care to balance debate. We regularly interrogate government data and we have controls in place, use verifiable sources and give space to a careful selection of voices and opinions.”
Meanwhile…
The tech giant has yet to respond to Press Gazette’s request for an explanation about why the channel has been deleted and what the process was which led to this action.

Piers Morgan criticised his action on Good Morning Britain and stated, “If we want to save lives […] we need to get rid of the wretched Mark Dolan because he should not be doing that on his show. talkRADIO should think about people like Mark Dolan doing things like that on air because that will cost lives. People may die because he did that. Is that what you want to be associated with? It’s reckless and stupid.”[12] “
Yes, how dare they comment on the lockdowns.

Cutting up a mask during a broadcast is hardly a counter opinion, just reckless. He got the response he wanted. OFFCOM should have acted before youtube did.
I don’t agree with Youtube silencing any discussions, but it seems like he broke a simple public safety rule.
Could they not have just removed that one video?
I know YT is a private entity and they can do what they like but, that channel has had a lot of well respected scientists, politicians, historians and more who are offering a counter opinion on lockdowns, the governments handling of the entire situation etc.
As well as non “Covid topics”. A LOT of which I’d say people here would agree with.

I listen to this radio station on a fairly regular basis. I don’t agree with a lot of what they say especially regarding the lockdown and their thoughts on Covid, but I do agree with Julia Heartly Brewers stance on Trans-sexuals and love how she rips SJW’s a new one when one of them is brave (stupid) enough to use non-words like “cis” etc…
But I completely and utterly disagree with censorship of their channel and it’s just more evidence of toxic SJW whingers illegally deciding to cancel free speech. I hope that they pursue legal action, it is time Google/YT and in particular twitter (Pravda) is broken up.

How is a private company banning a radio station from using its website illegal? Twitter is filled with right and left-wing nutjobs; if you think the left has a monopoly on “snowflakes” I have a bridge to sell you.
