The Taoiseach was startled to see
That the bishops were making a plea
For a lockdown pass
So they could say mass
To poor sinners like you and me

If their club can meet why can’t mine ?
I’d be okay with some muddying of the edges of restrictions around funerals so people can say goodbye in a controlled and a safe manner but for mass? Nah.
I mean, unless the Bishops are okay with accelerating the irrelevancy of Catholicism in Ireland by putting their most devout members at risk.
I can just see the solemn address to the nation:
