Management have the right to refuse admission. Good for them protecting their staff until they get vaccinated.
Obviously you have to take off your mask to eat / drink.
Do you then have to keep an eye out to make sure the waiter/waitress isn’t coming over to your table to ask if you’d like anything else, or deliver the bill, so that you have to don the mask?
It’s only a deli at the mo. Take away only.
We stopped going there as when my wife would pop in the atmosphere would be very tense. They seems very worried about Covid.
Pity, as the food is nice.
The real question is, did the atmosphere go from zero to one hundred after your wife left??!!

In other words, they’ll be forcing their staff to get vaccinated also.
How did you reach that conclusion exactly?
You can wrap a <1mm piece of nylon cloth with – zero viral filtering – around your mouth.. And this shop will welcome you in no questions asked. People have completely lost their minds.
This same shop – like almost every shop now – will not do temperature checks on entry… Something that WOULD actually protect their staff.
ie, current situation is you can enter a shop witb symptoms coming out your eyeballs and a temperature of 39 degrees… Likely infecting everyone who comes within a metre of you. But it you do so whilst wearing a pointless piece of cloth, all's ok!!
Employers have a duty of care to their workforce, excellent to see a pro-active stance by the employer
What this is saying to me is- your vaccination status is irrelevant as you may still infect our staff.
But by that logic the status of the staff is also irrelevant, as they can also be infectious and/or infected.
From an infectious disease viewpoint- vaccination means frig all so.
The logic is that the staus of the staff – unvaccinated – is of the the utmost relevance.
