Didnt think it was too bad. Kenny picks at a lot of things that werent relelvant or on point. Why in christs name are people so annoyed about not being able to eat in restaurants? I dont get it. We’re trying to keep the rate of infection down right? We’ve come this far, why jump the gun?

On Ivor talking sense to NPHET there: NPHET aren’t interested in historic trends and data that anyone can draw a conclusion from. They’re only interested in historic data if it’s to feed their “models” – the mechanism of protected claim of authority over all matters Covid.
As soon as there was whiff of an external review of their models, they immediately headed it off by ‘fessing up that there’s something they didn’t allow for in the models (obvs!).

Ivor is the one who is wedded to his theories. He blocked me for calling out his BS. He is in it for the money. Why would he change his tune when it is his business model.

      1. SOQ

Ivor’s income comes from voluntary donations. Nobody is forced to give him money, they do so because they agree with what he doing and what he is saying. The only reason it rankles you is because you don’t agree with his analysis which is fine- but at least be honest about it.

If you are going to attack someone’s character and question their motives then I suggest you start with that waffler Donnelly and the NPHET clowns whom are wrecking the country, AND are being paid out of our taxes to do it.

        1. Can a Da?

          Very well said.
This guy lives in Australia FFS.
Is there anything more desultory than the exile commenting on domestic affairs from their ivory tower?

          1. Formerly known as @ireland.com

Hey Can a do – pseudonym of whoever, Let me know when this site is for people in Ireland, only. As you can see, I am not commenting on things I am not close enough to. I can comment on Ivor because his virus malarkey is dealing with the same virus I am familiar with.

          2. Can a Da?

You guys can and always will do what you want, but it’s tiresome, and we’ll call it out

        2. Formerly known as @ireland.com

The catholic church got money from voluntary donations, too.

He blocked me. That is hardly an open discussion. He is not interested in facts.

I am not in a position to comment on NPHET. I think the Irish Government is weak and has not made good decisions.

      2. Cui Bono?

If Ivor Cummins was in it for the money he would make a lot more money pushing the mainstream narrative.

He is simply sharing the official data which exposes the lies and misleading representation of covid and lockdowns that the media are pushing.

RTE are making more money in these last 2 years than ever before. Why don’t you call them out?

“Every time you talk, I get depressed. You have to stop that.”

    Trump to Birx.

    Had switch it off.

      1. Johnny

No off switch huh, powered by envy and jealousy.
Would you care discuss the bad math, why were the numbers presented to cabinet fatally flawed ?

  3. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

how can he say vacines are not effective and yet only vacinated people are safe in the same sentence ?

    1. E'Matty

Exactly Janet. Contradictions abound with these clowns. It should be noted that 35% of delta cases between Jan and June 2021 in the UK were vaccinated. Over 53% of deaths were vaccinated with 36% having received both shots at least two weeks prior to infection. The idea there is some enormous difference between the vaccinated and unvaccinated justifying an apartheid society with pressure to vaccinate our kids is not based in any science. This is all political theatre.

        1. A Lovely Horst

Thats because youre known by other names here, and use them to abuse posters on a daily basis.

      I have 3 things to say….

      1. White Moose Cafe – really? do your research lol
      2. yer man Ivor – my view hasn’t changed, self interested idiot (a bit like 1. above)
      3. I took 20 mins last night to write a letter to my local TD’s and the DPC to outline my concerns about this Governments handling (presently) of lockdown — their emerging drive to vaccinate people who clearly don’t need to be vaccinated and this clear and obvious attempt to side-load a civil surveillance mechanism onto our society which I for one will resist till the day I die

I’m not trying to say I’m great or anything but if you really care about this stuff, find out who your local TD’s and wannabes are, take 30mins to write a 1 page formal letter/email outlining your points and deliver it. Broadsheet and the like might be useful for venting but make it useful and direct it to their letterboxes, oldskool like!

Delta definitely spreads more easily. Lots of ‘fleeting contact’ cases in Oz. There are now seven outbreaks from hotel quarantine per month, it used to be two per month. I don’t know if it is less severe.

    3. Micko

I’m in the Whitemoose cafe right now.

First time ever. Just had some lovely pancakes.

Only eating in places that follow suit from now on.

      1. goldenbrown

glad you enjoyed your food Micko tho there’s plenty of other gaffs in Dublin who do nice pancakes and don’t rely on an “aggressive marketing style” to promote their business

White Moose is like a Michael O’Leary & Katie Hopkins lovechild, lol

        each to their own

        1. Micko

While his marketing strategy is a bit much alright

I’ll support anyone who stands up against this rubbish ;)

  4. Tony

A minute and a half of that creepy self publicist Ivor ‘Hey Goys’ Cummins was all I could manage

    Quite proud of myself actually

  5. Janet, dreams of an alternate universe

He’s deluded when he talks about strongest controls for people arriving from GB, has he forgotten about the North ?

  6. Joe

BS making a valid point about the clown government and then they shoot themselves in the nuts by linking to that damn irrelevant fool Ivor Cummins!

    1. Micko

I don’t like Ivor, but in fairness the seasonal element seems pertinent.

On a completely unrelated note – how’s winter in Oz going?

        1. Micko

How’s the Russian vaccine rollout going and which vaccine are they using again?

“i come from a lock down under!” ;)

          1. Toe Up

One of Ivor’s first comments on his video is that there was no virus activity last summer. The link I posted shows that there is massive virus activity this summer with the Delta variant, so his assertion that it disappears during the summer months is patently false.

          2. Micko

Do ya think that might have something to with the fact that this time last year, we were testing 30K a week.

Now were testing over 120K a week – constantly.

      1. Formerly known as @ireland.com

Micko, So much to say. Melbourne has a cold winter and we were locked down for four months, last year. I have heard some people discuss the seasonal aspect. In winter, people spend more time in confined space with less air circulation. This would help the virus spread. We have just had a few weeks on lockdown but are close to normal, now. However, about half the Aussie population is under lockdown this week. Two causes – our Tory Bozo-like PM stuffed up the vaccinations – we don’t have enough. Only 7% fully vaccinated. The second is that hotel quarantine is not perfect. The virus keeps escaping. Apparently, Oz was averaging two outbreaks a month until Delta came along. It is now seven per month. One of the state premiers (Gladys of NSW) was trying to avoid doing lockdowns, to show how great her government is. Well, Delta stuffed that up. The virus has spread a lot and now Sydney is in lockdown. The state governments plan to reduce the international intake – apparently, lots of people are not Aussies returning home but business people coming and going. Interesting times.

  7. Micko

We’re just soooooo far behind everyone else.

Maybe if the Irish gov gave tenders to companies with actual backgrounds in pertinent technologies we’d be further along outta this mess.

Instead, they give them to their mates

    1. SOQ

Yes that whole passport app thing stinks to the high heavens- jobs for the boys. On the plus side, they’ll probably make a mess out of it which is usually the case when it is EU or state funded.

  8. frank

Everybody NEEDS to listen to that Donnelly , Pat Kenny interview, Amazing!!
Full of laugh out loud moments.
The main take away from it is we’re going to have to wait until someones mate around that cabinet table figures out how to make the ‘Covid Pass’ that could be bought from any European country.
And to believe some people think this is all about public health. Very funny.

  9. An older man

Hi I’m in a red zone. Curfew lifted. Restaurants now open to 2am was 10pm. Lots of locals out, fireworks. No Europeans some Russians. Life is great. I remember over the years bad colds hitting the resort. We shrugged and got on with it. Go team ireland. Btw granny is like Kenny always ending up dead. Tis a time of pink hair rainbows and unicorns. I wonder is this the 4th turning. Love the contributions as always go the Bodger.
