This afternoon.

Weekly HSE covid briefing.

Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin.

Health Service Executive CEO Paul Reid said

“it’s never too late” to register to receive a Covid-19 vaccine, as he urged those who have not yet received a vaccine to come forward.

“Today I would like to make a very specific and clear call to those who have not yet come forward for vaccination. The first message is very clearly, be assured, vaccinations are working.

“The evidence is extremely strong, in terms of reduced illness, reduced hospitalisations coming through, reduced ICU admissions, and indeed, reduced mortality.”

He said the programme continues at pace, with a priority now to vaccinate those in the 12-15 age group. Mr Reid said that 124,000 people in this age group had signed up so far, with 72,000 having been administered with a first dose.

      Ha!

A mate literally did this to me last week at a poker game last week when it transpired I was the only unjabbed at the table.

      Feckers ;-)

On Eddie Hobbs’s bit, what’s the issue?

Surely any infection creates a immunological response which increases the risk of an organ transplant being rejected? And are immuno-suppressive drugs not required thereafter which would increase Covid risk.

Sounds like good medical advice, not ‘medical apartheid’ or whatever the current hyperbolic term is.

An example peer reviewed paper on vaccination pre and post kidney transplants

But sure he’s only ‘asking questions’.

Let’s save lives by delaying transplants to needy recipients. Only makes sense to the rabid Branch Covidian fanatics. Do they suspend transplants during flu season for those who decline the flu vaccine? I’d seriously doubt it. And remember everyone, they would never try to force people to be vaccinated against their will.

Should they not test for covid-19 prior to the procedure…whether the prospective patient is vaccinated or unvaccinated?

ah here DubDec, that would make far too much sense and removes the possibiilty of discrimination against the unpure, I mean unvaccinated. If prevention of transmission and risk reduction were actually the aim, all in society, vaccinated and unvaccinated would be subject to regular antigen tests when accessing services like this.

Anyone seen the tiktok video of GoD and JW advocating for a coup?

    Hilaaaaaaaaarious!!

I honestly believe the only reason broadsheet doesn’t platform them anymore is because of their stance on abortion, other than that ye’d be all about each other like 13 year olds during the slow dance at a GAA disco.
