    Tis’ good in’it. ;-)

Only need a PCR to fly out now. No hassle of wandering around the middle of Europe looking for a PCR to fly back home.

Had to happen after the governments had to hide the vaccination status of death in several countries.

Vaccinated are now dying at a greater rate in the UK, one of the few give updates with status included.

Vaxxed dying at a rate of 9 to 1, compared to unvaxxed, Jo. It’s a huge human tragedy & the crime of the century, all rolled into one.
Still, it’s probably CIA paper 1035-960, from 1967.
      Yeah, a Conspiracy Theory.

Ah, here Hughie, they’re just Russian cos they’re in a hurry.
      I’ll get me coat.

UK may not have removed their restrictions yet but if travelling from Ireland to UK and/or back, there are no requirements for PCR, etc, unless you’ve recently been outside the CTA.

Under existing British regulations, passengers arriving into Great Britain from Ireland, are not required to complete a passenger locator form, self-isolate, or undergo testing, if they have not been outside of the Common Travel Area in the previous 10 days. The Common Travel Area includes Ireland, the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. (from dfa dot ie and confirmed on UK government site)

Sure, why would they have to, John? Turned out to be a hoax, didn’t it, the whole Pandemic thing?
In 2018 the world lost 0.76% of its population.
In 2019 the world lost 0.76% of its population.
In 2020 the world lost 0.76% of its population, during a Pandemic.
Read ’em and weep, I say.

Whether there should be restrictions on travel or not, is another issue, K.Cavan. I’m merely commenting on the situation in practice, in relation to the Twitter post.

Whatever the real truth is about Covid, it does seem pretty ridiculous to have different rules for travel within the CTA, expecially when the Ireland/NI border is porous, to say the least.

This has been the case since the beginning of the pandemic.
I regularly flew to Blighty on business and only needed a PCR test and PLF coming back the other way.
Of course on some occasions I simply, ahem, visited Belfast on my way back …

      1. John Smith

Yes, but I was pointing out that you don’t even need PCR/PLF, now, in either direction Ireland/UK (unless you’ve been outside the CTA very recently).
