          @Micko

Apologies for my behaviour and responses to you last week in relation to your conversation with ORO.

Tired and emotional at the time.

You probably don’t even remember, but, I do.

          Sorry.

          1. Oro

@ben I ignored your comments the other night because I felt it was the polite thing to do, it’s rude to draw attention to desperation. However I think this continued insistence on mining the depths of the human understanding of the concept of cringe via this boys club hand on heart apology mess, deserves a little ‘yikes’ from me. Of course could not have been done without the assist from bodge, I acknowledge. So there you have it, that’s all you’ll get from me.

In fairness, Oro, my apology was intended for Micko only.

My opinion of you still stands.

My regret is allowing my emotions get the better of me and equating Micko with you.

For this I apolgise and hope Micko can forgive me.

As I said, my opinion of you still stands and is something I will never apologise for – because I believe it to be true.

Micko is one of the good guys.

            P.S. Thanks, Bodger.

          3. Oro

I didn’t think your ‘apology’ / cringetacular was for me and I don’t care where your opinion stands.

          4. Micko

Sure not to worry Ben. I didn’t think you were that harsh at the time. All is good man!

Thanks for your kind words. Gent ;)

And sure as you say, we can all be tired and emotional.

And as has been said before, if we ALL met in the real world, 99% of us would get on grand.

I think the internet has this weird way of drawing out the most extreme aspects of our personalities, maybe it’s the anonymous nature of it all, who knows?

I’m sure I’m the real world we’d ALL agree on most things and disagree on very little.

We all have more in common than not.

Micko, that’s a moment of beauty, not that it will make much difference. FFG-NPHET are on a power trip and they’ll suck every last drop from the teat to deflect from the chronic lack of healthcare and housing, because as the political elite they’re immune to such issues.

        1. Micko

He’s bloody class Steph, but I think you’re right. Mainstream media don’t cover him really.

We should all share that vid in our WhatsApp groups and social media. ;)

    1. SOQ

Not sure, but if they can, they will.

And to think that nasty bit of work used to call himself a Social Democrat.

      1. Zaccone

The SocDems were calling for full border closure, extended lockdowns, and pursing ZeroCovid earlier in the year. They, along with PBP, were the most in favour of lockdowns of all Irish political parties.

        1. Chris

If anything, this scenario has revealed just how undeniably thick the political class are. Excluding those in the know and on the grift of course.

        1. SOQ

Love that- coffins piling up besides that ugly thing where there used to be greenery on Dame Street.

And stiff drag queens being dragged out of The George- I am proud dragaphobic- so when?

OMG this is worse than Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini combined.
In other news JFK junior did not show up in Dealey Plaza in Dallas today.
Broadsheet is more and more a site for right wing cranks. Pity.

    1. Cui Bono?

      It’s complete and utter tyranny.

A virus with an average IFR similar to a bad flu.

Snap out of it for god sake. It’s so obvious at this stage.

      A left winger here BTW.

    What LEVEL are we at?
Or is that all ditched now?
What variant are we experiencing in ICU and community cases?
    Where is my Millennium tree?
Are my iodine tablets still consumable?
    What’s a tracker mortgage?
Why is Mehawl talking about environmental matters for the very first time at a major international environmental conference?

    WHY?

    1. benblack

In fairness, this Covid debacle is on a completely different level to anything we’ve seen before – in our lifetimes, anyway.

Had we been alive around the time of the first and second world wars, perhaps, we might have seen something similar.

Either way, the agenda is gradually progressing.
