That’s the bottom line, the abhorrent nadir. The fetid, sickening stench of its reality while internet forums pointlessly and uselessly ping with blowhards blowing hard. Those with points of view and ideological insights as full as the hole in a doughnut. Talking about hypocrisy like it’s new and they somehow are the seers, the blind visionaries, the arbiters of what’s good and bad, what’s right and what’s wrong. Fupp their weakness, fupp their cowering cowed humanity and fupp dressing up death in politics, served on the cold slab of shifting, ever moving geopolitical tectonic plates. Faux intellectual calesrhetics, offered up on the altar of mediocrity.

Courtesy of Belarus own fat boy fascist Lukashenko the attack plan to carve Ukraine up into 4 zones as “peacekeepers do” – note that they plan a little field trip into Moldova (Transnistria to be precise) for another leg of the “defense” tour – anyone still peddling that line here really needs to be mocked for the gullible stooges they are an an affront to anyone with an IQ that rises above room temperature

Anyone who bought that line in the first place really needs to take a long hard look at themselves and how they managed to get there.

Bojo certainly had a moment of realisation today

Oh my word you really are an ignorant cretin.
Have you any idea of the consequences of any Western country attempting to enforce a no-fly zone over Ukraine involving shooting down Russian jets ?
And there’s a reason why Boris was given a standing ovation in the Ukrainian Cathedral in London over the weekend.
This thread might shed a small shaft of light into that dense impenetrable skull of yours but somehow I doubt it.
An ingrowing toe-nail would show more signs of brain activity than you.

As a 60 km convoy of Russian tanks and missiles bear down on the civilians of Kiev, this might not be the best time for your ‘goofy’ headlines.

In all honesty, Bodger, and while I appreciate I am not held with any particular regard around here and would not be missed (though that certainly does not bother me given the sort of characters who dominate the place), I daresay you may well lose some more readers if you continue with the teenage-smirky-flippantry around what’s happening in Ukraine. Don’t go down to Micko’s level.

        1. Micko

Yeah Bodger don’t get brought down to my level…

Which of course is “Back of the bus with de kewl kidz “

Although I’m pretty sure the other day I explicitly said I wasn’t going to discuss what’s happening in Ukraine because I don’t know enough about it.

          But plough ahead there andy

…although I’ve posted this before…can I pass 1st March* fraternal greetings to all my new comrades who recognise that Russia’s actions in Ukraine are long overdue and have been prompted by the relentless Eastern expansionism by NATO and their US puppet masters…

*I normally do this on 1st May but I fear that some of you see this as a convenient bandwagon and may have jumped by then…

It was a hunger strike mate. The only person doing the starving was Bobby Sands.
He chose to not eat and die while Gerry and his pals turned down British offers to end the hunger strike because it suited their purpose to have a martyr.

    Destroyed/damaged planes 29
    Helicopters 29
    Tanks 198
    Armoured vehicles 846
    Light-armoured vehicles 305
    Artillery systems 77
    Air defence systems 7
    Multiple rocket launchers 24
    Fuel tankers 60
    Drones 3

This is most certainly not how puffy-faced Putin expected things to turn out.
And he’s puffy-faced because he’s on steroids for either Parkinsons or cancer.
    Put money on it.

    1. andrew

I would love to think it is 100 times that, but I would not be too quick to believe it’s even that. Sadly.

      1. TenPin Terry

The Russians are strangely quiet about their losses.
Quite clearly they expected a much easier passage.
Taking and then holding Ukraine that’s equipped with a heavily-engaged local population and trained armed forces supplied with start of the art weaponry by the West is going to turn this into a war of attrition for Putin.
That’s if the Russian economy hasn’t collapsed because of sanctions.

        1. stephen moran

well there are myriad reports of soldiers being capture with rations that are 7 years after their best before date and a complete logistical fcuk up that “experts” are saying could only occur if a lot of the units actually weren’t expecting to get the go order or were totally unprepared….certainly seems along way from the lean mean fighting machine that was advertised on the tin, Regarding the losses, well that clobber ain’t cheap – for a few rubles more.

The Russians have so far just sent in fodder- a bit like the British army used to do in most the north. Young kids, some of whom didn’t even know they were going to fight, in rusty old vehicles. The poor young fellas have no experience- so they are surrendering at the first available chance.

We can only speculate as to why they didn’t go for the quick kill- no pun- as the Russian army is well able for it. Then again, their objective is not really clear as they have said that they not interested in an invasion- a regime change maybe?

The first thing they took out was the US bio labs which is telling- obviously regarded as as security risk, and they will be going after that puppet Zelensky- most likely the NAZI Azov battalion too.

Interesting how the Azov battalion were took off the US banned list in 2016, despite their ongoing swastika flag waving.

You’re 2 defining characteristics on this site over the last 2 years are that you are gay and covid sceptic. Yet you openly support the barbarity of a vulgar and brutal homophobe and covid recluse. You are abhorrently absurd.

Was it ETwatty who yesterday was bemoaning the shortage of big explosion video content from Kiev? Yes, I think it was. Or one of the other Pootsie Fanboys maybe. Anyway, must be happy now,

World’s biggest container lines – Maersk, CMA, and MSC – suspend shipping to and from Russia.

The suspension will cover all Russian gateway ports. The suspension excludes food, medicines, and other humanitarian supplies.

    1. ce

Better double check for “humanitarian” bullets in those containers….

Apple also not allowing sales in Russia

And Google getting rid of RT… although I personally do not think banning news sites is a good idea as it gives Putin the excuse (not that he needs much) to further crack down on his own and international media… as he did today … Moscow Echo and something echo nixed today…

  8. ANO

Seems crass to bundle in a tweet about some station in Israel screwing up with a story about an attack on a TV tower that left at least 5 people dead.

    1. jungleman

He’s trying to imply that there is a load of fake footage being used because the war is fake. This is Bodger’s schtick… denying reality.

        1. ANO

If you believe a story is fake then you should either refrain from making a blog post about it or clearly frame your post as disputing the story you are linking to.

Mashing things together like here comes across as grossly insensitive

      1. ANO

If that’s what he believes then he should make explicit posts saying so rather than sticking news bloopers in with attacks that leave real people dead.

  9. Nigel

Re the Israeli news story – you know I’m absolutely convinced I’ve seen a story about so-called war footage turning out to be from Star Wars before… have you checked that the fake news story isn’t itself fake? Are you sure someone hasn’t spliced the footage into an otherwise legit report?

      1. Sten

@Bodger This proves that your fake news story is actually the fake news story. Will you take it down and correct your record? You are very quick to call out others as disseminating fake news but not so quick to acknowledge your own ‘mistakes’ (although I would call it lack of professionalism)

        1. jungleman

Professionalism?! Lol, professional what exactly? The guy’s an alt-right truther with a megaphone. Don’t think that is one of the professions.
