Did you stay up?
A big thank you to, clockwise from top left: Neil Curran, Luke Brennan, Vanessa Foran, Olga Cronin, ‘Preposterous’, Johnny Keenan , Brendan Ogle, our panel on last night’s Broadsheet on the Telly.
The show, produced by Neil Curran, can be viewed in its entirety above.
Brendan, Right2Water coordinator, joined us for the full show discussing ‘water wasters’, Leo’ Spin Unit and why he now cannot vote for Sinn Féin.
Broadsheet’s Olga, meanwhile, took us through Sgt Maurice’s McCabe’s evidence at the Disclosures Tribunal and the role of former Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan and garda press officer Dave Taylor in the whistleblower’s alleged smearing.
Some light swearing.

Staying in tonight?
You are invited to join Broadsheet on the Telly as it returns at 10pm streaming LIVE above and on our YouTube Channel.
The news from Ireland and ‘abroad’ teased out by a panel of your peeers.
Matters under discussion to include the spin unit’s unravelling, Irish Water and Storm Ellen and The Disclosures Tribunal.
Expect old friends, surprise guests and, perhaps regrettably, mature language.
All welcome.

Roxy Music – Love Is The Drug
Smith writes:
Because of the lyrics: ‘Late that night I parked my car, Staked my place in the singles bar, Face to face, toe to toe, Heart to heart as we hit the floor’ and hoping to, ‘Lumbered up limbo down, The locked embrace, stumble round, I say go, she says yes, Dim the lights you can guess the rest’ But then I get a slap on the face for my ’70s sleazy Bryan Ferry (esque) presumption…
Winner:
LL Cool J – I Need Love
AMOS writes:
When I sway closely with a special friend at a “dance” , I like to do so to the strains of LL Cool J’s “I Need Love” owing to its killer line “You can scratch my back, we’ll get cosy and huddle, I’ll lay down my jacket so you can walk over a puddle”. Chivalry lives!!
Thanks all
