Yes, it’s a another remix of Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know.

But wait. This one’s by Gotye himself, who sez:

Reluctant as I am to add to the mountain of interpretations of Somebody That I Used To Know seemingly taking over their own area of the internet, I couldn’t resist the massive remixability that such a large, varied yet connected bundle of source material offered.

Beat Bricks – A LEGO Step Sequencer from superquadratic on Vimeo.

Guido Lorenz made a beat sequencer for Advance Hackaton 2012 in Cologne using a webcam and his ninja coding skills.

We somehow missed this one last week, but there’s now a fully functional version of the grandaddy of all FPS games Wolfenstein 3D available to play in your browser.

We’re refusing to acknowledge though that it was released to celebrate the game’s 20th anniversary.

1992. If you want us, we’ll be locked in our room, hating everyone.

Play Wolfenstein 3D

Doing the rounds across the internets this week has been Valve’s Employee Handbook, a master class in Doing It Right.

Billed as a ‘fearless adventure in knowing what to do when no one’s there telling you what to do’, it details life in a company that could only ever be staffed by software developers: desks on wheels, self-organising teams, the often spoken-of but rarely achieved ‘flat structure’ – it all sounds too good to be true.

Puts Broadsheet’s manual (written on the back of a damp beermat) in the ha’penny place.
