A very nicely edited compilation of photographs and time-lapse footage from the International Space Station by Knate Myer, set to the by-now obligatory space anthem: Adagio In D Minor by John Murphy.
Filmed last year in TCD.
Yes, it’s more from the Bollywood blockbuster with the exploding Luas.
We demand an Irish release.

Someone’s been at the Neitzche.
“There’s no easy to solution to this. I think, you know, what’s good for the economy is not necessarily good from a social point of view and vice versa. What’s good from a social point of view isn’t necessarily good for the economy. But I think at this point in time we need to address the issues. The weak don’t carry the strong. It’s the strong that carry the weak. So I think we need to get money out of the system, cut public spending, get the economy back on its feet again, growing to a level that’s sustainable, a decent level that’s sustainable. If we get high levels of growth then we can raise our social welfare and our social system again.”
That’s how they roll.

Not any more.
Daley Thompson (top) made the gaffe during last Thursday’s show when he was shown a photo of a torch bearer with ‘Oylmpic torch bearer’ tattooed on her arm.
The Decathlon gold-medalist quipped that the tattooer must have been Irish.
He was quickly corrected by presenter Matt Baker that the tattoo had been done in the USA and the presenter apologised to viewers straight away and then again at the end of the show.
