Brendan O’Rourke writes:

Here are 2 cartoons (see also below) I did for an IABA [Irish Amateur Boxing Association] fundraising effort (1 of the Irish Olympic Boxing squad, and 1 of Katie Taylor). The IABA are hoping to raise some money for the upcoming European Schoolboy and European Women’s Youth and Junior Championships. The canvas versions have been autographed by the boxers and are now for sale. Prints are also for sale here.

What you may need to know:

1. Yes, it’s a prequel to The Wizard Of Oz (1939).

2. Anybody remember Return To Oz (1985)? That film was pretty messed up.

3. Haters gonna hate, but we still love James Franco. His entire career is one big art prank.

4. Director Sam Raimi will never make a better movie than Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn (1987), but only because NOBODY will ever make a better movie than Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn.

5. And yes, Bruce Campbell AND Sam Raimi’s beloved Oldsmobiles both have cameos.

Release Date (Ireland): March 2013.
