Last night.

South Anne Street, Dublin 2.

First pints in fupping AGES. Went to Kehoe’s (upstairs) and it was glorious. Was with yer man (he’s reading) and we sorted a load of stuff over a fair amount of jar.

There was a scent of garlic on South Anne Street when leaving the boozer but we abstained from that temptation. Got the Luas home and for the first time in ages, I remembered normal life.

Jesus, I’d forgotten how it feels to have a pint without the craziness of the zombie apocalypse. Is it really going away? Maybe not. I might wake up with d’virus. But Jaysus, t’was almost worth it.
