Youtuber LJ Tors sez:
My cat would not stay outside. Here he is squeezing through the small doggie door. He had regular vet checks and vaccinations, and was healthy. I just could not keep him away from the dog’s kibble inside the house. I did find him a new home last year where he was an only pet so they could regulate his diet.
Good.

YouTuber Dan Sorkowitz sez of this spectacular Pavlovian role-reversal:
I trained my cat to ring a bell for treats. Now, when he wants treats, he will lay down in front of the bell and ask his servant_me to give him..When he gets full, [keep watching] he will push the bell away, and clean his paws.
