Last year’s Forbidden Fruit festival (top) and frenetic preparations for this weekend’s two-day concert (above).

Paul Trainer of TNT24.ie writes:

We filmed a timelapse video of the build at the Forbidden Fruit festival site [starting Saturday at the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin].

Two days condensed into three minutes featuring sunshine, fluffy clouds, a small army of technicians and some heavy lifting equipment dancing to Primal Scream.

I thought you may be able to help with this, might be small potatoes but a Daniel Miley from Wicklow lost his wallet by the main stage [at Forbidden Fruit] today, we picked it up, trying to get it back to him so maybe you could give a shout out to see If he or someone who knows him could get in contact, id be sickened if it was me is all! Cheers.

Update: Daniel has been located. Thanks all.

Saw this sign up when walking through the Royal Hospital Kilmainham
just now.

I remember last year there was a problem with one day ticket holders
on Saturday (of which I was one) not being allowed re-entry on the day
if they left the grounds.

This was changed on the Sunday after hundreds of people left on
Saturday because of the 2hr bar queues, and weekend ticket holders got
an armband to allow them access as they pleased.

They’ve avoided answering the question directly on their Facebook I’ve
noticed, but it looks like this year there will be no armbands and no
one will be allowed re-entry.

Just thought people might like to know the situation.

Sarah McCall and Eider Leite (no, really) at the press preview for Forbidden Fruit (on at the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin, over the weekend) this afternoon.

Damn pastel-swathed Summery Hipster duo.

Meanwhile, here’s the booze ‘rider’ for headliners New Order. It would have been more if Peter Hook was still playing
