Oh my days this is incredible. What a time to be alive in Mayo
Behold: the HUVr, crafted from “paramagnetic titanium” and shipping from December 2014.
Based on the hoverboard from Back To The Future and endorsed here by Moby, Tony Hawk and Christopher Lloyd it is, of course, a real thing that is real.
Not the actual Pit Bull, you understand, but a rare design prototype from Back To The Future Part II (1989).
Rear foot plate missing. Did not appear in the film. Currently on sale for a trifling $12,995 plus shipping.

Were putting together an 80s Movie pub quiz to raise funds for a Charity Trip to Zambia in June. I’ve made a replica hoverboard from Back To The Future which we’re raffling off. It’s going to be a lot of fun, raffles, spot prizes and we hope alot of 80s movie inspired costumes.(optional ). It will be upstairs tomorrow night (Saturday) in Against the Grain on Wexford St, Dublin Quiz starts at 8pm sharp.
