UPDATE:
John O’Mahony, on Killarney Today.com, is now reporting that the article about “Mairead” was “bogus”.
Mr O’Mahony reports:
When contacted this afternoon by KillarneyToday.com Irexit Freedom to Prosper leader, Hermann Kelly, claimed an email had been sent to us on his behalf, on Tuesday night, denying that the party was running a candidate. It was pointed out to him, however, that no email of that description has been received.
He insisted that Irexit Freedom to Prosper had not nominated “any candidate in Kerry or elsewhere” and he was not aware that there had been a link to the so-called Mairead Donovan page on his party’s website.
Claim that party is targeting a seat in Killarney was bogus (Killarney Today)

UPDATE:
‘This story is utterly fake news propagated by a media who did not do any verification whatsoever.
Irexit Freedom Party have not nominated anybody in local elections in Kerry and on Tuesday we emailed local media, who failed to carry out basic journalistic protocols, requesting they take down their false report, and the article was removed from their websites immediately.
This false story certainly wasn’t put out by Irexit Freeedom.’
Statement by the Irexit Freedom Party this evening.
