I just found a large white Samsung smartphone lying face down at Herbert Road car park in Bray [County Wicklow]. Tyre track across the back, with a thin crack across the screen I’m afraid. Recent loss- battery at 80% and I can see the main user name.  left my business card in with the uniform shop nearby, and will drop the phone in to Bray Garda station now.

Wishing you both a happy reunion.

Fair play in fairness

I got on the [south-bound Dart] train at Lansdowne Road this morning and found a purse on the seat with some money in it. Shouted out at the platform before we left the station but no one was there. Have left a message at Irish Rail but they didn’t exactly seem mega efficient so thought I’d put it out here.

Anyone?

I’ve lost a folder containing months of research either on the 25 bus from Wellington Quay – Chapelizod @ 12:30 today or in Daybreak on Aston Quay @ 12.20.

It’s an A3 transparent carry folder with a black notebook inside and notes from Ballyfermot College. (Image above) I would really appreciate if you could post this for me in the hope that some kind soul has retrieved it.

Anyone?

Hey, I know you normally don’t do this but its worth a shot.. Was at Castlepalooza for the first time.. Had a good time, lovely festival but on Sunday we returned to our tent and the front flap had been slashed .. There were some valuable items in the tent that could have been taken, but instead a bag with some t shirts and phone chargers was taken out and kicked around the campsite.. mindless stuff.. managed to recover a couple of things from the ground and the lost and found but the bag is missing.. so if you happened to ‘find’ a black CabinZero 44L bag (above) with a Ryanair tag on the top handle and think that it might have rained bags (!),  it would be nice if you could return it.. we’re going to have to replace the borrowed tent, so bit of a disappointment for what was otherwise a lovely experience.. Thanks campers.

This quite nice bike has been chained to my fence for months now – I guess it must have been stolen. I live in the Dun Laoghaire area – if you think it’s yours, tell me the make and other identifiers.

Are you the owner? Mail claim details (‘It’s light blue’ and ‘There’s reflecty things on the spokes’ are not acceptable) to broadsheet@broadsheet.ie and we’ll pass them on to Terry.
