Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon meets Seanad Ceann Comhairle, Senator Denis O’Donovan before addressing Seanad Eireann on the second day of her visit to Ireland.

Ms Sturgeon is the first serving head of a foreign government to speak to the Senate.

On BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty tells viewers they’ll be joined by the First Minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party Nicola Sturgeon, when footage of Kumbuka, a gorilla who escaped from London zoo, is shown.

Co-host Charlie Stayt apologises for the mistake.
