It’s all over bar the barking.
Rupert and Frank, the frankly tasty Irish natural pet food offered a MONTH’s free food to the best Pets for Yes/Pet For No pic sent to the ‘sheet during the Marriage Referendum.
Last night they selected three runners up and one winner.
In ascending order they were…
Name: Mr Picklesworth, also known as Mr Pickles.
Guardian: Charlie
Verdict: “It was impossible to vote no once you looked into Mr Pickle’s warm brown eyes.”
Third Place
Name: Loki
Guardian: Lauren
Verdict: “Alert, vigilant, intense (too intense?) but above all beautifully groomed.”
Second Place
Name: Samwise
Guardian: Aisling
Verdict: “Confident, carefree and wriggling on a couch. Modern Ireland right there.”
Winner
Name: Max
Guardian: Niall
Verdict: “A big dog for a big vote. Who’s going to say no to Max especially at dinner time? Not us.”
Thanks all.
